About Us – South Sudan Study Hub
The South Sudan Study Hub is a free, community-driven learning centre in Juba, dedicated to empowering young South Sudanese through education.
Founded in 2023 by local teachers and volunteers, we provide quiet study spaces, textbooks, Wi-Fi, and daily tutoring in English, Maths, and Science for students aged 12–18.
Our mission: bridge the gap between limited school resources and big dreams.

History
Founded in 2018 by local educators and diaspora supporters, Ashmount began in two rented classrooms with a dream: quality secondary education for all.
- 2019: First S4 cohort sits national exams—88% pass rate.
- 2021: New science block and girls’ hostel opened.
- 2023: Named Top Performing School in Central Equatoria.
- 2025: Solar-powered ICT labs and 40+ clubs running.

How to Apply
How to Apply – S1 to S4
- Download the application form from our website or collect from the school office.
- Complete with student details, previous school report, and birth certificate.
- Submit in person or email to admissions@schoolname.edu.ss by 31 May.
- Sit the entrance exam (S1) or placement test (S2–S4) on scheduled dates.
- Attend interview with parents (if shortlisted).
Places confirmed within 2 weeks. Limited scholarships available—ask at submission.
Entry Requirements
- S1: Open to all Primary 8 graduates. Entrance exam in English & Maths required. Age: 13u201315 years. Priority to local applicants.
- S2: Successful completion of S1 with passes in core subjects (English, Maths, Science). 75% minimum attendance. Good conduct report from previous school.
- S3: Minimum C grades in S1/S2 core subjects. Interview with Headteacher. Transfers via placement test.
- S4: Completion of S3 with passes in at least 5 subjects (including English & Maths). Final-year places subject to availability; assessment for mid-year entry.
